We encourage guests to reduce water/cleaning by re-using towels/linen more than once during their stay, and all our rooms have complimentary filtered water and low consumption hand dryers. In 2018 we joined and regular headed steering committee #noplasticstives – assisted lobbying other businesses in town to implement changes. We ordered Keepcups for the house and now offer reusable coffee cups to sell with an incentive of a free coffee from us. We use a Bumble Bee electric moped for all local errands.
UPCOMING PROJECTS FOR
In the future, we hope to set up our Flowhive Beehive with the hope of producing a bit of honey but mainly to introduce more bees into our immediate environment. Find incentives for guests to travel by public transport and commute locally.
